Chairman & Chief Executive Officer
Marc R. Viscogliosi

Mr. Viscogliosi is a founder of Paradigm Spine and has been its Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of the Board of Managers since August 2004. Prior to founding the company, Mr. Viscogliosi was a cofounder and secretary of the Board of Directors of Spine Solutions, Inc., which was acquired by Synthes-Stratec in 2003. In 1999, Mr. Viscogliosi cofounded Viscogliosi Brothers, LLC (“VB”), a leading merchant bank and venture capital firm focused on the musculoskeletal/orthopedics industry. Mr. Viscogliosi spent six years researching and banking musculoskeletal companies prior to cofounding VB.  He was employed for four years as a musculoskeletal/orthopedic research associate, primarily working with his brother, Anthony Viscogliosi.  Mr. Viscogliosi has served on two boards of directors of musculoskeletal companies.  Mr. Viscogliosi graduated from New York University in 1999 with a BA in Economics and Political Science. 


Chief Technology Officer
Francis Patrick Magee, DVM

Dr. Magee began his career as a veterinarian serving as the Head of Experimental Surgery at the Harrington Arthritis Research Center, working on the development of Total Joint Prostheses for human application. Over his 25 career he has worked exclusively developing devices in orthopedics and spine. He has served as the Chief Technology Officer for Orthologic, Spine Solutions and Synthes Spine. He has managed the successful commercialization in the U.S. and OUS of many Class 2 and 3 products, and was responsible for all functional areas, including design, development, regulatory, surgeon training and manufacturing. All three companies Dr. Magee has been a part of either went public or were high multiple acquisitions.


Chief Financial Officer
Steve Ward

Mr. Ward has over 30 years of medical device industry, financial, and operational experience. Steve began his career in medical devices at Howmedica Inc. ($1.0 billion dollar Hip and Knee implant division of Pfizer Corporation) in 1984. Steve continued to be recognized during his 16 years at Howmedica reaching the title of Director of WW Accounting and Financial System Operations. In 2000 Steve joined International Technidyne Corporation (ITC), as Vice President of Finance. ITC specialized in disposable incision devices and coagulation equipment. In 2006, Steve rejoined former employees of Howmedica and accepted the role of Chief Financial Officer at Small Bone Innovations Inc. (SBI). Steve was later promoted to CFO/COO. Most recently Steve was the CFO/COO at Viscogliosi Bros and Musculoskeletal Clinical Regulatory Advisors. Steve earned a BS degree in accounting and an MBA in finance from FDU in Madison NJ. Early experience includes two years at KPMG.


EVP, Sales and Marketing
Charlie Gilbride

Mr. Gilbride has over 20 years of medical device experience in the fields of Sales, Marketing & Reimbursement. Charlie began his career at ArthroCare Corporation where he launched the Ear, Nose & Throat division as well as the internal Incubator, leading to licensing deals in the fields of gynecology and urology with Johnson & Johnson's GyneCare subsidiary, and ACMI/Circon, respectively. Charlie has been in the field of Spine since 2006, spending time in both venture capital funded start-ups and mid-sized public companies. His most recent corporate role was as Vice President, US Product Marketing for LDR Spine (acquired by Zimmer Biomet Spine in 2016). Charlie led the highly successful launch and commercialization of the Mobi-C Cervical Disc. He also held the role of Vice President, Reimbursement while at LDR Spine. Charlie graduated from with a B.S. in Biology from Boston College and an MBA from The Wharton School.


Vice President, Sales
Tim Hein

Mr. Hein began his medical device career in sales over 20 years ago, and his leadership background has been focused on the creation of high performing sales teams that specialize on high growth with innovative product lines. His experiences include Ethicon Endo-Surgery, DePuy Spine, Kyphon and most recently, AVP Sales - West, for Zimmer Biomet Spine (formerly LDR Spine). Tim earned his undergraduate from the United States Military Academy at West Point, his MBA from Pacific Lutheran University, and he served 6 years as an active Army officer.


Vice President, Marketing
Lisa Denison

Mrs. Denison has over 20 years in orthopedic and spine marketing and medical education (14 of those years dedicated to implantable spinal devices), with advanced experience in all traditional and contemporary marketing avenues, including Direct-To-Patient campaigns. Lisa was the marketing lead on more than 8 U.S. and 4 international medical device commercializations, 4 of which involved class III devices which underwent the full IDE clinical trial and PMA process. Lisa received a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology/Biology from the University of North Texas and an MBA from Baylor University. Lisa lives with her husband and three children in Austin, Texas.
